Rediff.com brings the reactions from twitter just after Sachin Tendulkar announced his decision to retire after his 200th Test.

Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from Test cricket. His statement to the BCCI said, "I look forward to playing my 200th Test Match on home soil, as I call it a day."

Sundar Raman, the CEO of Indian Premier League tweeted, “No words to express the emotion. Feel an emptiness. thank you for sharing your journey with millions of fans.”

Harami Parindey tweeted, "End of an era with Sachin Tendulkar retirement. Now, Cricket will not remain a religion, just a sport."

Abhijit Majumder said, “Sachin Tendulkar will retire after his 200th Test. The next one will take quite a while to be born, I'm sure.”
