England's Ravi Bopara gave England a solid start to the second edition of the Twenty20 World Cup by hitting the first ball of the slam-bang event for a boundary off Dirk Nannes.
He went on to score 46 off 34 deliveries as England put up 162 for 5 in their 20 overs.
The Netherlands, in reply, hit up 163, the winning runs coming off the last delivery of the match.
