Suresh Raina, the captain of the Indian team for the forthcoming tour of Zimbabwe, was upbeat about his team's prospects ahead of their departure on Tuesday.

"It's a big opportunity for the young players and a big challenge for me," he said, adding, "We have a good batting line-up and a good bunch of medium pacers who have done well in first class cricket and the IPL."

The 23-year-old refused to read much into India's early exit in the World T20 and the impact it can have on the upcoming series.

"T20 is completely a different format while one-dayers are altogether different. It is a longer version with more scope to come back into a match," reasoned Raina.

"We are the No.2 side in the world in the format and we have done really well in the format and the Tests as well in the last year or so. Just because we failed at the World T20 doesn't mean we aren't a good team. We are a very young side and every one is keen to do well in Zimbabwe," he added.
