New Zealand squads announced

New Zealand Cricket on Wednesday named its teams to play in a triangular tournament in Singapore in August and a tour of Zimbabwe in September.

The Singapore tournament will see New Zealand play one-day internationals against South Africa and Pakistan between August 20-28. A new squad will then travel to Zimbabwe for two warm-up games and two Test matches.

A third squad is also due to be named for the rest of New Zealand's tour of southern Africa which runs until December. This will include three one-day internationals in Zimbabwe, followed by an International Cricket Council knock-out tournament in Kenya and an eight-week tour of South Africa.

The team for Singapore tournament:

Stephen Fleming (captain), Nathan Astle, Chris Nevin, Roger Twose, Craig McMillan, Chris Cairns, Chris Harris, Daniel Vettori, Scott Styris, Paul Wiseman, Shayne O'Connor, Geoff Allott and Daryl Tuffey.

The team for the first four matches in Zimbabwe:

Stephen Fleming (captain), Mark Richardson, Matthew Horne, Mathew Sinclair, Craig Spearman, Nathan Astle, Craig McMillan, Chris Cairns, Adam Parore, Dion Nash, Daniel Vettori, Scott Styris, Paul Wiseman, Shayne O'Connor, Daryl Tuffey.
