"As I've said before, if I have to go somewhere else, it's going to be a club that offers me tranquility," Salas said on Tuesday.
Salas, who is Chile's joint record scorer alongside Ivan Zamorano with 34 goals added: "If there's no change within the next week, I'm going to rejoin Juventus."
Salas has been the subject of speculation over a possible move to Monaco or a return to Argentina's River Plate, where he made his name before moving to Italy to join Lazio.
"I don't want to talk about River or Monaco or other things which have been reported. I'd rather wait for a few days," he said.
Salas is training with his former club Universidad de Chile to get into shape for the new season.
