Sujata Kar scored five goals as India rolled over Guam 10-0 in the AFC women's championship qualifiers at the My Dinh stadium in Hanoi on Sunday.

Thangam Tababi Devi scored a brace, while Sradhanjali Ray, Magar Pinky Bombal Magar and Oinam Bem Bem Devi got a goal each in the rout.

As the score line suggests, India dominated the Group B match. There was excellent co-ordination and Ray kicked off the demolition job in the 23rd minute. Then Kar got into her act and scored her first goal in the 36th minute and grabbed her double two minutes later.

Magar added the fourth goal three minutes from half-time and, after the restart, Tababi Devi blasted two goals in quick succession in the 50th and 53rd minutes.

Oinam Bem Bem also got on the score sheet five minutes later and Kar weighed in with her third goal in the 67th minute. She tallied her fourth after 10 minutes and bulged the net for her fifth with six minutes left on the clock.

But the massive Indian win was not enough to satisfy coach Harjinder Singh.

"Although we won I am not satisfied. The next game against Chinese Taipei will be a big challenge," said Singh.

"We have brought our young players here to expose them to high-quality matches to prepare for the future."
