Ace shuttler Arvind Bhat continued his successful return to top flight badminton, winning the singles title in Jordan Open tournament at Amman on Tuesday.
He defeated former England No 1 Amir Ghaffar 21-18, 21-14.
This isĀ Arvind's fourth triumph in the circuit this year.
Arvind is on a comeback trail after missing out on international badminton for a year due to a serious ankle injury. This success is likely to catapult him to the top 60 in the world ranking.
He was ranked No 39 when he sustained the ankle injury last year.
In the quarter-finals, Arvind trounced fourth seed Alexandre Paxaoi of Portugal 21-17, 21-16, while in the semi-finals, he beat top seed Pablo Abian of Spain 21-7, 21-19.
Arvind will now return to Munich to complete his league commitments in Germany. His next tournament is the Norway Open in Oslo, starting on November 14.
