Ben Arfa joins Marseille

France forward Hatem Ben Arfa is joining Olympique Marseille from French champions Olympique Lyon, Marseille said on Wednesday.

He was taking a medical test during the day before signing his contract, Marseille said on their Web site (www.om.net).

Ben Arfa, 21, has won six caps for France but was not a member of the Euro 2008 squad eliminated from the current tournament in the group stage.
