The place in the first qualifying round will be awarded to the best behaved team in the English Premier League that has not already qualified for European competition next season.

Manchester City are the highest placed team in England's fair play rankings who have not secured a place in Europe.

UEFA's Fair Play competition for the 2007-08 season ended on April 30 so this Sunday's matches will not count.

City finished fifth behind Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal but Spurs qualified for the UEFA Cup by winning the League Cup and the other three teams will all play in the Champions League.

Seven other national associations -- Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Spain and France -- go into a draw for two other UEFA Cup spots after finishing with a coefficient equal to or higher than 8.0 in UEFA's Fair Play rankings.
