Pakistan will play their final World Cup group game against Zimbabwe at Sabina Park on Wednesday, the team spokesman said.

The match had been thrown into doubt after a police statement on Tuesday said the death of their coach, Bob Woolmer, three days earlier was now being treated as "suspicious".

After a meeting of Pakistan Cricket Board, International Cricket Council and World Cup officials, PCB spokesman Pervez Mir told Reuters: "We are playing. The chairman of our Board said we will play. The security is fine."

Pakistan were eliminated from the tournament on Saturday after a shock defeat by Ireland.
