India 288-6 (124 ovs) vs England 330

Ravindra Jadeja off the mark in Test cricket with three runs fine on the leg side off the 10th ball he faced. He is used to playing on such low slow pitches back home in Saurashtra so he should not have any real problems out in the middle.

It is getting dark out in the middle and the flood lights have also come on.

In the next over, Jadeja gets his first boundary in Tests. He flashes his bat at a wide delivery from Bresnan and gets a thick outside edge which flies past first slip for a boundary and then takes a single behind square on the leg side.

Anderson is back in the attack to replace Bresnan and Jadeja steers him between the wide first slip fielder and keeper for a four. He has moved to 12 and interestingly all his runs have behind the wicket.

But he doesn't last long and is dismissed leg before wicket by Anderson for 12. That delivery came in sharply and Jadeja, who was caught in his crease, was struck right in front of middle stump.
