Chennai Super Kings will once again rely on Faf du Plessis to give them a good start. The South African opener has been in top form in the tournament, having made 334 runs in ten matches at an impressive strike rate of 138.

But equally disappointing has been the showing of Suresh Raina, who has managed just 197 runs at a lowly average of 21.88, while captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has fared no better with 166 runs with a strike rate of 116.

Deccan Chargers have found their bearing in the last few matches. Cameron White has finally found his form with two fifties in his last three matches for 215 runs in six matches while Deccan's top scorer Shikhar Dhawan with 266 runs in eight matches will be looking to continue his good run.

But Deccan will be resting all their hopes on strike bowler Dale Steyn, who has taken 11 wickets in seven matches and has troubled every team in the tournament with his extra pace.

They will once again be looking towards Steyn to scalp a few early wickets and put Chennai under pressure.
