Chennai 73-3 (10 ovs) vs Kolkata | Scorecard

Hogg has settled into a good rhythm right from the start. Three singles from the first three balls in his second run before Raina looks to steal a risky single but his partner Smith is caught short by a direct hit from Pathan at short thirdman to fall for 25.

Just four runs from Hogg's second over, who has conceded just six runs in two overs to create some pressure.

Russell gets the key wicket of Raina in the next over as the left-hander edges it to wicketkeeper Robin Uthappa trying to steer it to thirdman. He is dismissed for 17 from 21 balls as Chennai stumble after a good start.

Two new batsmen out in the middle for Chennai but Faf du Plessis and Mahendra Singh Dhoni have enough experience to steer their team to a healthy total.

Just 20 runs scored in the last four overs for the loss of two wickets as Chennai reach 73 for two in 10 overs.
