Punjab 62-1 (6 ovs) vs RCB 148-4 | Scorecard

Shane Watson comes into the attack after just one over from spinner Abdulla. The first ball is short and wide as Vohra slashes it over point for a four and then lofts the next ball over mid-off for the same result.

Watson bowls it full on the stumps as Vohra clips it through square leg for three runs before Amla picks one.

The next ball is again on the pads as Vohra flicks it fine for the third four of the over and keeps strike with a single from the last ball.

17 runs from Watson's first over as Punjab race to 43 for no loss in four overs with Vohra on 27 from 14 balls and Amla on 15 from 10 balls.

No signs of Tymal Mills yet as Stanlake continues, to bowl his third over with the new ball.

Amla slaps the third ball through the off-side for a four as Punjab bring up their 50 after five overs.

Mills finally comes into the attack, to bowl the sixth over. And he strikes in his very first over with the wicket of Vohra who is trapped leg before wicket for 43.

Amla was dropped earlier in the over as Stanlake let one go through his fingers at fine leg to give away a six. Vohra then plays a cracking straight drive for a four before he was deceived by the slower ball and was caught plumb in front of the stumps.

The openers have given RCB a good start, putting on 62 runs in six overs to lay the foundation for the team. They need another 87 runs from 14 overs at just over six runs per over.
