SL 206-3 (80 ovs) vs India 536-7d | Scorecard

Ashwin, who didn't bowl much in the morning session, straights off with the ball after the lunch interval.

Mathews quietly tucks the second ball on the leg side for one before Chandimal comes down but is forced to defend before he beats the short midwicket for one.

Mathews keeps strike with one from the last ball on the leg side as three runs come from the over.

As expected it will be spin from both ends with eight overs to go for the second new ball.

Mathews is drawn into a foul shot as he tries to cut Jadeja but the ball is too close to him. Jadeja rushes through the over pretty quickly with Mathews opting to defend.

Ashwin beats Chandimal as the right-hander is beaten by the turn and hit on the pads. The umpire turns down the appeal before the Indians take the DRS.

However, the ball tracking shows the ball is turning and missing the leg stump quite comfortably as the Indians lose a review.

A couple of overs later, Jadeja gets Mathews to edge one as it goes low and through Saha's legs for a four as the former captain.

That boundary takes Sri Lanka past the 200-run mark, while Mathews inches closer to his century.

Sri Lanka are 206 for three in 80 overs, with Mathews on 98 and Chandimal on 58. India have not taken the second new ball straightaway as the two spinners, who have got into some rhythm, continue.
