In the second match of the day, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik has won the toss and elected to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru, on Sunday.

The big news is that AB de Villiers is down with a viral fever and misses the match. He has been replaced by pacer Tim Southee.

In the first match of the day, Captain Kane Williamson stroked a fluent half-century to help Sunrisers Hyderabad ease past Rajasthan Royals, in Jaipur, on Sunday.

It was another brilliant performance with the ball by Sunrisers, who registered a 11-run victory to go top of the IPL standings with 12 points from eight games.

Electing to bat, Sunrisers recovered from an early wicket to post 151 for seven with Williamson stroking 63 from 43 balls.

They struggled at the end with Jofra Archer picking up three for 26 and Gowtham claiming two for 18.

In reply, Rajasthan never got going with the bat despite Rahane's 65. Siddarth Kaul claimed two for 23, while Sandeep, Thampi, Rashid and Pathan picked up a wicket each.
