Kohli looking to rotate the strike as he picks a quick single on the leg side off Steyn, who is bowling a testing spell.

He drifts on the pads as Pujara clips it through square leg and gets good timing on it top and bags his first boundary of the innings.

Morne Morkel comes into the attack. And he strikes with his very first delivery with the big, big wicket of Kohli.

Morkel bowls in the perfect channel outside the off-stump and gets good amount of bounce as the India captain hangs his bat out and gets an edge to be caught behind for five to leave India in a mess on 27 for three in the ninth over.

Kohli needs to learn from his mistakes in the past, especially from the series in England in 2014 when he time and again perished to deliveries outside the off-stump in similar fashion.

Rohit Sharma has his task cut out against a firing South African bowling attack. He is beaten all ends up off the last ball, which is similar to one which Kohli but Rohit does well to play inside the line.
