A single to the India captain before Rohit muscles the fourth ball over midwicket for a six and then steers the fifth ball fine on the off-side for a four followed by a single to get 16 runs from the over.
Rashid comes under attack as Kohli gives him the charge and smashes him over midwicket for a six and then takes one to race to 32 from 21 balls.
Jordan comes back and nearly bowls a tidy over before Rohit lofts the last ball for a six to get 10 from the 13th over.
Plunkett comes back as Kohli attempts to swipe him over the off-side and is beaten. But he makes full connection with the next ball, wristly carving it over the covers for a six.
Singles off the next three balls before Rohit hits the last ball for a four to get 13 from the over.
India are on course as they reach 148 for two in 14 overs, with 51 needed from six overs for victory.
Rohit has blasted his way to 82 from 44 balls, hitting five sixes and eight fours, while Kohli has hit 42 from 27 balls.
The duo have put India in control, adding 86 from 52 balls for the third wicket.
