Jason Roy blasted a quickfire half-century to lift England to a huge 198 for nine against India in the third and final T20 International in Bristol on Sunday.

Roy smashed 67 from 31 balls, hitting seven sixes and four fours, to lay the foundation for England as he put on a quickfire stand of 94 runs for the opening wicket from just 47 balls with Jos Buttler, who made 34 from 21 balls.

Hardik Pandya claimed career-best figures of four for 38 as India managed to keep England under the 200-run mark.

England lost regular wickets in the death overs, as they managed just 23 runs in the last three overs, while losing five wickets in the process.
