Delhi 44-2 (6 ovs) vs RCB | Scorecard

Just one over with the new ball for Umesh before Tim Southee is called into the attack. He starts with a short ball which slants across as Pant looks to cut but is beaten and RCB appeal for caught behind which is turned down.

Wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel is confident but the other players are not so confident, including the bowler himself.

An unsure captain Kohli decides to take the DRS just at the last minute but it turns out to be a wrong decision as the review is wasted.

The next ball is short as Pant pulls it behind square for a four and then repeats the shot but just for a couple.

He looks to turn the fourth ball on the leg side but gets an inside edge on to the pads before he is beaten off the last two balls.

Umesh is called back into the attack. Pant picking up length quickly as he pulls a short ball but Mandeep Singh comes up with a stunning effort to stop the boundary and keep it down to just a single.

But two balls later, he gets it perfectly in the gap for another boundary and the last ball is lofted over the covers as Pant races to 16 with the help of three fours.

Southee has started off well as he bowls another tidy over, conceding just five runs.

Delhi Daredevils have reached 44 for two in six overs with Pant on 17 from 12 balls and Iyer on 10 from 11 balls.
