India 24-0 (4 ovs) vs Bangladesh 222 | Scorecard

Bangladesh will open with spin as Mehidy Hasan is handed the new ball. They will be looking for a few early wickets to keep themselves in the contest.

Rohit Sharma turns the first ball on the leg side for one and Shikhar Dhawan cracks the next ball past point for a four to get off the mark in smashing fashion.

A single to Dhawan before Rohit clips the fourth ball off his pads behind square on the leg side and gets some good timing to pick up a four.

The fifth ball is short as Rohit pulls but is unable to beat the fielder at square leg and clips the last ball to the same region for another dot ball.

India start off on the right note as 10 come from the first over of the innings.

Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman to bowl from the other end. Dhawan defends the first two balls before he clips the third ball behind square for two runs.

He gets the fourth ball to come in sharply as Dhawan is hit on the pads but the huge shout for LBW is turned down.

Rohit tries to flick Hasan on the leg side and misses but the umpire turns down the leg before appeal. Two balls later he drops short as Rohit comfortably pulls it behind square for a four and then takes a single.

Mustafizur bowls a half-volley on leg stump as Rohit clips it through midwicket for two runs. The next ball is again full and hits Rohit on the pads but the leg before appeal is turned down before the India captain takes a single.

Mustafizur then drops short and also gives width as Dhawan slashes it through the covers for a four.

India are off to a good start as they race to 24 for no loss in four overs.
