New Zealand open the bowling with spin as Mitchell Santner is handed the new ball.

Shikhar Dhawan smashes the second ball for a boundary through the covers to get off the mark in style before he takes one and Rohit picks one.

Santner strikes in his very first over with the wicket of Dhawan, who attempts the slog sweep but is caught at deep midwicket for five.

Vijay Shankar comes in at No. 3 and Santner fires the first ball down the leg side and it keeps going for five wides before he beats the batsman last ball.

Tim Southee from the other end. Rohit hits the first ball to thirdman for a single and Shankar gets off the mark with a single on the leg side.

Rohit then opens the face of the bat and guides a wide delivery square on the off-side for a four before he keeps strike with one from the last ball.

Fast bowler Scott Kuggelejin comes into the attack as Santner is taken off despite taking a wicket in the first over.

Three singles from the first three balls before Shankart flicks it over the leg side for a four and then hammers the last ball straight down the ground for another boundary.
