SA 112-3 (28 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Pacer Ferguson is back into the attack, replacing de Grandhomme, who bowled a tight first spell of six overs for 17 runs.

Markram punches the first ball through the covers for two runs and then takes a single next ball.

Amla then drops a short ball on the off-side and takes a quick run before Ferguson tries a short ball which goes down the leg side and is called a wide.

Markram keeps strike with one from the last ball as South Africa take their score to 108 for two in 27 overs, as the run rate finally touches the four mark.

Santner produces a beauty to dismiss Amla. He gets the ball to drift into the batsman as Amla pushes forward but it turns sharply going past the bat and crashes into the stumps. Amla was playing inside the line, perhaps looking to play it on the off-side but was beaten completely as the ball struck the top of off-stump!

Amla walks back after a sedate 55 from 85 balls as South Africa find themselves in trouble on 111 for three, in the 28th over.
