14:36   World Cup: Bangladesh will count on Shakib Al Hasan

Bangladesh's outstanding run chase against West Indies has given them the confidence to beat any team in the World Cup, captain Mashrafe Mortaza said ahead of Thursday's clash with in-form Australian at Trent Bridge.

Bangladesh overhauled West Indies' total of 321 with 51 balls to spare on Monday. They also beat South Africa and lie fifth in the standings, well in contention for a semi-final spot with four matches to go.

Bangladesh's one-day international record against Australia has been poor, however, with only one win in 21 games against the defending champions who have won four of their first five games.

Australia fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins have taken a combined 24 wickets in the World Cup and Mashrafe said Bangladesh will be wary of them.

Bangladesh will count on all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who is the tournament's leading scorer with 384 runs, and Mashrafe said the rest of the team must take a cue from his match-winning performances.

What a fanastic innings under pressure from the New Zealand skipper.

He steers the next ball past short thirdman for a four to carry his team to a thrilling four-wicket victory with three balls to spare.

Williamson finishes unbeaten on 106 from 138 balls, as New Zealand emerge winners as they jump to the top of World Cup points table.

Ngidi keeps South Africa's hopes alive as he picks the key wicket of de Grandhomme. The right-hander, who made 60 from 47 balls, looks for a big hit down the ground but is caught by du Plessis at long-off.

The match still in the balance with 14 needed from 11 balls for victory.

Williamson on strike. The Kiwi captain gets a leading edge as he is deceived by the slower ball but it falls well short of the bowler.

Williamson chips the next ball back over Ngidi for just a single to long-on.

Mitchell Santner is then beaten outside the off-stump by the slower ball. He smashes the next ball straight but hits the stumps at the other end as he takes one. 12 needed from 7 balls.

As expected the last ball is a slower ball outside the off-stump as Williamson opens the face of the bat and runs it fine on the off-side past short thirdman for a four.

Ngidi, who has two overs in hand, is called back for another spell. Williamson chips the first ball over the leg side as it goes on the bounce to long-on for one and de Grandhomme picks one off the next.

Williamson drives the third ball square past point for another single before de Grandhomme attempts a big shot but is beaten by a well-disguised slower ball.

De Grandhomme pulls the fifth ball but fails to control the slower ball as it falls agonizingly short of Miller at deep midwicket and to South Africa's dismay it beats the fielder and rolls over for a four.

Ngidi then misses his radar with the slower ball and gives away a wide and de Grandhomme sensibly takes one to keep strike.

New Zealand need 17 from last three overs for victory.
