De Grandhomme then top edges the pull shot as it goes over the wicketkeeper for a four. He takes a single off the last ball to bring up New Zealand's 150, in the 39th over.

Pakistan's best bowler of the day, Afridi comes back into the attack. He starts with a slower ball which goes away from the right-hander who pokes and is beaten.

The next ball is again another good slower ball which goes through de Grandhomme to beat him all ends up.

He takes a single off the fourth ball and Neesham picks one off the fifth to bring up his fifty from 77 balls.

New Zealand have made a slight recovery to reach 152 for five in 40 overs, with Neesham on 50 and de Grandhomme on 38.
