NZ 94-5 (30 ovs) vs Pak | Scorecard

Colin de Grandhomme nudges Riaz on the leg side for a single before Neesham is beaten as he pokes away from his body. Wicketkeeper Sarfaraz is extremely confident but the bowler Riaz is not interested and thankfully they decide against the review as the ball was well away from the bat.

Neesham then steers the fourth ball to thirdman for one before de Grandhomme tries to play the pull shot but misses. He then throws his bat at a wide full delivery but again he fails to make connection and is beaten.

Shadab continues to be tight to keep up the pressure from his end as he concedes just two singles in his sixth over, having conceded just 14 runs so far.

Riaz tempts de Grandhomme with the wide delivery as the right-hander chances his arm but is beaten. He then drives a full delivery down the ground back past the bowler for a four.

Riaz then produces another beauty to go past the edge as de Grandhomme attempts to defend.

He then survives a run-out chance by the narrowest of margins as Shadab at point got the direct hit but de Grandhomme manages to drag his bat just in time.

New Zealand are reeling on 94 for five in 30 overs, scoring at just over three runs per over.

Neesham has struggled to score 22 from 54 balls, while de Grandhomme is on eight.

It will take a special effort from both or either one of them to drag New Zealand past the 200-run mark.
