Chennai leave it late again and record their 2nd win after beating Delhi by 6 wickets in their IPL match in New Delhi on Tuesday.

21:46   Bravo takes 3 wickets

Delhi 147-6 (20 ovs) vs Chennai

Delhi have managed to make 147 for 6 in their 20 overs after Bravo and  Jadeja struck in those crucial middle overs just when Pant was going well.

Dhawan made his 50 and got out soon after. 148 should be a score to defend on this slow track if they pick early wickets.

Bravo given the last over and Tewatia takes to the attack against the bowler as he takes 7 runs off the first three balls -- including a 4.

Axar then gets a single.

A six off the last ball can take Delhi to 150 and no  can do as Tewatia can only manage a single to deep mid-wicket as Delhi end up with 147 for 6 in their 20 overs.

Shardul brought back into the attack and Axar gets the much-needed boundary off the last ball of the over as 8 come off it.

21:33   Bravo strikes thrice!

Delhi 130-6 (18 ovs) vs Chennai

Axar is the new man in and Dhawan completes his fifty.

Keemo Paul is the new man in and is dismissed for a duck, bowled by Jadeja in the very next over.

Just when it looked like Delhi were cruising, Bravo strikes twice!

He first gets the big wicket of Pant, who pulls the ball to deep square leg, Thakur completes a good running catch to send back Pant for 25 off 13.

Delhi 118-2 (15 ovs) vs Chennai

Bhajji comes back into the attack to bowl his last over. Four runs come off the first five deliveries but for how long could he keep Pant quite? The young big hitter, looked like he had mistimed the shot but got enough wood and power on it to send it sailing over the long-off fielder for 6!

Not only is Pant getting the fours and the twos. he has sort of motivated Dhawan as the opener fires three boundaries off the bowling of Bravo to bring up the team 100 and take 17 runs off him.

Jadeja continues and Pant's presence has upped the run rate. 11 runs come off the over.

Jadeja continues and he bowls a venemous one to Iyer as the ball spins past his outside edge.

Tahir comes on to bowl and he is treated to a huge six by Iyer down the ground and 10 come off the over.

Chennai have kept the runs down after the Powerplay, in particular after the fall of Shaw as just 12 runs have come off the last 3 overs.

The last two overs have given just  9 runs as Jadeja comes in to bowl and it's drama. The ball goes past the outside edge, Dhoni whips out the bails in a jiffy, Iyer's foot looks grounded and  the third man says not out.

Iyer then sneaks a run after some hesitation.

Just three runs come off the over.

After Shaw's dismissal, Delhi are dealing in singles and twos even as Iyer gets a lifeline as the ball falls  just short off an incoming Rayudu in the deep.

Chahar continues and Dhawan gets a slight outside edge  and the ball runs away past third man for a boundary.

Chahar then comes back nicely as only 4 come off the over.

Medium pacer Thakur bowls from the other end and he has started nicely making the batsman go hard at it.

Nice line and length maintained by the bowler.

Slow ball next and slightly short and Shaw pulls it through mid-wicket for a four.

Back-to-back fours as Thakur bowls another short ball and Shaw hammers it straight to long-on for a boundary.

Shaw then plays the ball down to third man for another four.

Good over for Delhi as 12 come off the over.

Dhawan and Shaw to open the innings for Delhi as Chahar opens the bowling for Chennai and he starts nicely.

After a wide, Chahae bowls short, has been pulled to deep square leg for a boundary. Nice way to get off the mark.

19:54   Mishra comes in for Boult

Delhi captain Shreyas has won the toss and elected to bat against Chennai in their 2nd match at home in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Delhi have brought in Amit Mishra in place of Trent Boult, while Chennai field an unchanged team.

It will be a battle where experience will be pitted against youth and astuteness will square off against flamboyance when King Dhoni faces his heir apparent Pant on what is expected to be another sluggish Feroz Shah Kotla track.

Pant has once again set the tone with a magnificent 78 off 27 balls in Delhi Capitals' 37-run away win against Mumbai Indians.

CSK, with their experience of winning important moments, will certainly make Capitals wary.

However, Chennai Super Kings will be a different challenge for the Capitals, who don't have an enviable record against Dhoni's men at their home ground.

The nature of the Kotla track makes CSK favourites with their spin troika of Harbhajan Singh, Ravindra Jadeja and Imran Tahir having already hit the straps in the low-scoring opener against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

While CSK will expect their batsmen to score more freely at the Kotla, Capitals would want their opening bowlers Trent Boult and Ishant Sharma to be a bit more economical.

Delhi Capitals XI: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Collin Ingram, K Paul, Axar Patel, R Tewatia, Kagiso Rabada, Amit Shah, Ishant Sharma

Chennai Playing XI: Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, D Chahar, S Thakur, H Singh, I Tahi
