Barinder Sran to open the bowling for Mumbai Indians and he starts off with a wide delivery which Wriddhiman Saha crashes past point for a four to get going in some style.

The next ball is short and comes in as Saha manages to run it down to thirdman for a single.

Martin Guptill offers no shot to the third ball before he defends the next and then taps the fifth ball on the leg side for a single.

Saha keeps strike with a single from the last ball as seven come from the first over.

Lasith Malinga to bowl from the other end. The first ball is full and swings away as Saha pokes and is beaten. He takes a single from the third ball before Guptill edges the next which goes past the slip fielder for a four.

Guptill is squared up by a full delivery moving away as he gets the edge but it falls short of the fielder at short thirdman just inside the circle.

The last ball is on the pads but Guptill is unable to make most of the freebie as he is unable to beat short fine leg and gets just a single.

Sran continues as Guptill taps the first ball on the off-side for one. The left-arm pacer then offers Saha width who slashes it past point for a four.

The SRH opener then pulls a short ball over midwicket for a four before Guptill lofts the last ball down the ground for a six.

SRH off to a good start as they reach 30 for no loss in three overs.
