Thampi cramps de Kock for room as he looks to slash it through the off-side but is beaten and hit on the pads but manages to collect two leg byes.

A single to the left-hander before Yadav takes a leg bye as Thampi manages to keep things tight, by not conceding the boundaries.

De Kock plays a cracking pull shot but Vijay Shankar puts in a superb effort at deep midwicket to keep it down to two and keeps strike with one from the last ball as just seven come from the over.

At the halfway stage, Mumbai have reached 76 for one in 10 overs, with de Kock on 25 and Yadav on 22.

Rashid comes back into the attack. He also keeps the two Mumbai batsmen in check with a tidy over, giving away just five runs including two leg byes as Sunrisers create some pressure.

Pacer Khaleel is back into the attack. He starts with a poor delivery as de Kock picks it over the leg side for a six to break the shackles.

Khaleel responds well with a yorker which de Kock turns on the leg side for two runs and then digs the next yorker down the ground for one.

Khaleel then makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Yadav, who slices it straight to sweeper cover trying to play the inside out lofted shot.

Yadav walks back for 23 as Mumbai are reduced to 90 for two, in the 12th over.

Evin Lewis at No. 4 and he nearly perishes first ball as Khaleel bowls a good short ball at the body which narrowly misses the bat as he tries to turn it on the leg side. Sunrisers appeal for caught behind which is turned down but they decide against the review as the ball had come off the body.
