NZ 40-2 (10 ovs) vs India 179 | Scorecard

With just two runs coming from the last two overs, Guptill breaks the shackles as he lofts Bhuvneshwar over mid-on for a four. Two balls later, he swings the pacer over midwicket for another boundary before slashing a wide delivery over point for three runs.

But at the other end, there is no getting away against Bumrah. The fast bowler sends down his second successive maiden in a row as Guptill is content to defend.

Mohammed Shami comes into the attack in place of Bhuvneshwar, who bowled an expensive first spell of 27 runs in four overs.

The second ball is short as Williamson pulls it square for a four followed by three dot balls and he keeps strike with one from the last ball.

Hardik Pandya comes into the attack, replacing Bumrah, who bowled a splendid first spell of one for two runs in four overs, including two maidens.

Williamson clips the second ball behind square to pick up three runs before Pandya strikes with the wicket of Guptill.

The Kiwi opener tries to flick it over midwicket but fails to get the distance as the ball goes high and Rahul at mid-on sprints across to his right and completes a superb catch.

Guptill walks back for 22 as New Zealand lose their second wicket, to be reduced to 40 for two in 10 overs.
