India bowlers have put on a fine performance here to dismiss Bangladesh for a paltry 150 in their first innings, on Day 1 of the first Test. 

Mohammad Shami starred for India with figures of 3 for 27. He was well supported by Umesh and Ishant who got the early breathroughs in the morning before finishing with figures of 2 for 47 and 2 for 20 respectively. Ashwin also chipped in with two wickets as the visitors crumbled in the 2nd session before getting all out early after tea.

Mushfiqur, who received two reprieves, top-scored for the visitors with 43.

Umesh continues and Hossain starts the over with a couple to deep cover.

He is beaten next ball before being castled by Umesh. He gets out for 2 and Bangladesh all out for 150.



Shami continues and Jayed plays out a maiden safely.



Ebadat Hossain is the new man in and he plays out two dots safely.

Umesh back in the attack and after two dots, Jayed gets five runs to his name as Jadeja misses to hit the stumps and the ball rolls to the boundary.

Islam is out next ball, Jadeja strikes the stumps this time as he hits the stumps from fine leg and the batsman falls short of the crease on the 2nd run.

Bangladesh are now 9 down, Islam out for 1.

On a hat-trick Shami continues but Tajjul Islam easily defends it.

Shami bowls a maiden.



Jayed is the new man in and he gets off the mark with a couple.

Ishant continues after tea and Das goes just after tea, poking at the one outside off and is caught in the slips. He is out for 21.
