India dismiss Bangladesh for 213 to record a massive win inside 3 days of the 1st Test in Indore on Saturday.

India record their third consecutive innings victory, defeating Bangladesh by a massive innings and 130 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

India had earlier defeated South Africa in the previous series by an innings margin. 

Bangladesh were dismissed for 213 after tea on day 3. Shami was the pick of the bowlers for India with figures of 4 for 31 in the 2nd innings, while Mushfiqur Rahim top-scored with a fighting 64.

Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first on a track that helped the Indian seamers who dismissed the visitors for a paltry 150. 

Opener Agarwal then starred with the bat for India with a superb double hundred. He was well supported by Pujara, Rahane and Jadeja, all who made half-centuries to take India's tally to 493 for 6. India declared on the overnight score and Bangladesh batsmen came into bat on Day 3.

However, their innings was left in tatters by the first session and they could not recover, eventually getting all out for 213 and losing by an innings and 130 runs.

Ashwin continues and after a dot, Ebadot goes for the big heave and is caught by Umesh at third man. That is a wrap! 

Shami continues and Ebadot gets off the mark with a single.

Jayed then middles the ball and gets a four straight down the ground.

Jayed survives the over, even though he is all over the place.

Ebadot is the new man but Jayed is on strike and he blocks. Dot to end the over.

Ashwin continues and after four dots, the fielders come in to stop the signal but Mushfiqur goes for the big one only to hand a catch to Pujara. Well-judged catch by Pujara in the deep and Bangladesh now well and truly staring at defeat here.

Jayed is the new man in and after a dot, he backs off again and he gets a life as Jadeja drops a sharp chance at slips.

Shami continues and he comes around the wicket to Taijul. 

After two dots, Shami bowls short, Taijul gets hit on the gloves and Saha completes the catch. Taijul's stoic stay comes to an end. He is out for 6. Bangladesh lose their 8th wicket. 

India trying hard to find another breakthrough but this Bangladesh duo are fighting it out and how!

Ashwin continues and Mushfiqur cuts the ball late and uses the pace to play it down to third man for a four. 

He plays the next five balls safely.

Shami continues and after a dot, Mushfiqur gets a single to backward point. 

Shami comes around the wicket to Taijul, he defends well.

Ashwin continues. After a dot, umpire Erasmus misses the inside edge that Taijul got as the fielders go up for a catch. India have no reviews left.

Next ball, Hasan has been castled. Umesh breaks the partnership and Bangladesh are now 7 down.

Tea is called here on Day 3 of the opening Test.

Bangladesh are 191 for 6, still trailing by 152 but they'll be the happier of the two teams walking back into the pavillion. 

They have scored 131 in the second session.

Although they lost the wickets of Mahmudullah and Das in that session, the Bangladesh scored a lot more freely than they did in the first session of play. 

Mushfiqur Rahim got to his 50 off 101 deliveries and Mehedy Hasan has given him good company in their late rally, stitching up a 56-run partnership.

Umesh and Shami operating from both ends as the latter comes back into the attack. The runs flowing  for both batsmen as 19 runs have come off the last four overs, while the 50-run partnership comes up in the 53rd over.

Ashwin continues, and Mushfiqur plays a paddle sweep to fine leg for a single. Hasan gets a single next and just two come in the over. 

Umesh comes into the attack now and Mushfiqur plays the ball down to square leg for a couple. 

After two dots, he bowls a peach, making Mushfiqur play and miss.

After four dots, Hasan dances down and hammers the ball over long-off for a four.

Mushfiqur then gets a couple to mid-wicket.

Ashwin continues and Hasan was squared up but he gets a couple down to third man. 

Hasan then gets a single to long-on.

Mushfiqur gets a couple to cover before getting a single to backward point.

Jadeja continues and Hasan sees him off safely, taking a single off the last ball of the over. 

Ashwin continues and Mushfiqur not given any easy runs. He gets a single to backward point and then after two dots, Hasan gets off the mark with a huge six. He dances down the track and lofts it over the bowler's head for a maximum.

Jadeja continues and after 4 dots, Mushfiqur gets a single to the leg side.

Hasan is the new man in and survives the four balls in the over. A successful one for India that.

Ashwin continues and after a dot, Das charges and gives Ashwin a simple return catch. He goes for 35 and Bangladesh inch agonisingly close to defeat in this first Test in Indore.

Jadeja continues and Das is happy to just block. He gets a single off the fifth ball of the over and a dot to end the over as just one come off it.

Ashwin continues after the drinks break and Das gets a single to third man.

Mushfiqur sees off the over safely as just the single comes off it.

Jadeja continues and after 5 dots, Bangladesh get two byes off the last ball of the over. Mushfiqur looks to drive, the ball misses everything and goes to third man.

Mushfiqur sweeps again and he connects well to send the ball through square leg for boundary and bring up the 50-run partnership that has come in no time!

Ishant continues and after two dots, Mushfiqur plays the ball down to backward square leg for a single.

Short ball next, Das pulls and luckily flies just over Pujara at mid-wicket, he gets two runs.

Das then taps the ball to cover and runs for a single.

Jadeja back in the attack and after a single off the first ball, the ball goes just past Das's bat. Beaten and how! Big shout but the umpire is not interested. 

After three dots. Das rocks back and punches the ball to mid-wicket for a four.

Ishant back in the attack after lunch and Das plays the ball down with soft hands down to third man for a four.

Another four! Superb shot.a lovely straight drive down to long-on for a boundary.

Shot ball next and Das ducks safely under the bouncer.

Another shot ball, this time down the leg side and Das lets it go.

After a dot, Ishant bowls full, half-volley, gift ball and Das drives it through covers for another boundary to bring up Bangladesh's 100.

Mushfiqur then plays the ball to mid-of and gets a single.

Jadeja continues and after two dots, Mushfiqur takes the ball from off-stump and slog sweeps it over square leg for a four.

Liton Das is the new man in and after two dots, he gets off the mark with a superbly timed shot through covers for a four. Beautiful way to get off the mark!

A dot next before Mahmudullah fishes for the ball, edges it and Rohit takes the catch at slips to see the back of the batsman.

Mahmudullah out for 15. Bangladesh lose half the side.

Jadeja continues and after a dot,  Jadeja bowls short, some turn for the bowler but Mahmudullah cuts it nicely through point for a  four.

Spin now and Jadeja comes in the attack. Mahmudullah plays two dots before playing the next ball to square leg for a single. 

Musfiqur missed the last one completely, going for the sweep. Luckily gets nothing on it and just the single comes in the over. 

Trailing by 283 runs, Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah come back to bat while Shami has the ball after lunch. 

And Shami oversteps to bowl a no-ball and Mushfiqur gets a single on the on side.

Mushfiqur then gets an outside edge and the ball falls short of the fielder in slips. A single to the batsman.

Mushfiqur then allows the next two balls to go to the keeper.

Bangladesh go in to lunch at 60 for 4 in 22 overs, staring at defeat after the Indian pace attack starred in the first session.

India declared at overnight at 493-6 with a healthy lead of 343 and their pacers did well to consolidate that lead.

Umesh and Ishant struck in the first hour, taking out both openers before Shami came into the attack after the first hour and bowled with venom to take the next two wickets.

Mushfiqur and Mahmudullah have a mountain to climb after the break and they'll have to fight hard to negotiate this challenging bowling from the India pacers.

Ishant continues and after a dot, Ishant bowls a peach! The ball swings out late as Mushfiqur is beaten. So close, so close! 

After two dots,  Mushfiqur plays it to point and takes a quick single. Dot to end the over and that is lunch! 

Shami continues and Mushfiqur is made to think. Just a single off a leg bye comes in the over. 

Ishant continues, comes over the wicket and the ball seams into Mushfiqur.

Mahmudullah then taps the ball and goes for a quick run but Mushfiqur just survives a run-out chance.

Shami is bowling some unplayable deliveries, making Mushfiqur play and miss again and again. Jaffa after jaffa! Wow! That is a maiden.

Umesh continues and he is getting some swing while pitching the ball in the right areas.

After two dots, Mushfiqur plays the ball down to third man for 3 as Agarwal puts in the dive at the boundary to cut the single.

Mahmudullah is the new man in and Shami is keeping him guessing here. And that is a maiden.

Shami continues, bowls short and quick, Mithun tries to pull, miscues and is caught at mid-wicket by Agarwal.  He goes for 18 and Shami picks up his 2nd wicket.

Bangladesh lose captain Haque, who was braving the Indian bowling.

In comes Mushfiqur Rahim and he gets off the mark with a single to fine leg.

Shami has struck in his first over to put India back in control.

Shami is the first change bowler this morning and after a dot, he bowls down the leg side and the ball flies off Mithun's thigh guard for a four to fine leg.

After two dots, Shami comes around the wicket, hits the player on the pads, big shout, no signal from the umpire. India take the review and this time it's a great review. Ball tracking showed that the impact was in line and the ball would have clipped the leg stump. Haque gone for 7, Bangladesh lose their 3rd wicket.

Drinks on now and after an hour's play, Bangladesh have lost two early wickets but captain Haque and Mithun are doing well to stave off the challenge put forth by Ishant and Umesh. 

The Indian pace duo have kept the visitors on the edge right through the morning and the next hour till lunch will be an interesting period of play.

Umesh continues, full ball, Mithun plays a superb front-foot cover drive for a well-timed boundary. 

Next ball, shaping away, Mithun plays it with soft hands but gets a streaky boundary past gully down to third man.

A dot later, Mithun lets the next one go. After a dot, the next one comes into the batsman as he he leaves, the ball sails just over his stumps and he survives. 8 come off the over.

After two dots, including  a peach of a delivery, that beats Mithun, the batsman then clips the ball off his pads for a single to square leg.

After a dot, the ball balloons up off the thigh pad. After a dot, Ishant goes right through Islam's defences. The ball comes in sharply and knocks off top of Islam's middle and leg stump. Islam out for 6 and Bangladesh lose their 3rd wicket. 

Umesh continues and he castles a clueless Kayes --  full ball, coming in after pitching and shatters the stumps. Kayes gone for six. Bangladesh lose first wicket.

Ishant continues and Kayes fishes and misses. Kayes leaves the next one and after a dot, Kayes plays the ball to backward square leg for a single.

Umesh continues and after two dots, Kayes plays it around to fine leg for a single.

Three dots to end the over and a little play and miss from Islam, just one comes off the over.

Ishant continues and Islam plays it nicely, leaving some and defending some. That is a maiden.

After a couple of dots, Umesh bowls a half-volley and rightly punished by Kayes, who times it beautifully through the covers for a four.

India have declared the innings overnight at 493-6 in the 1st Test against Bangladesh in Indore.

Shadman Islam and Imrul Kayes come to bat as Ishant opens into the attack and he starts around the wicket to Islam and he is accurate. Islam is happy to let it go before the next one passes his outside edge.

Islam then plays the defence. Next ball is a little more bounce and movement, leaving Islam guessing.

After a dot, Islam plays the ball to long-off for 3 runs and the visitors open their account.
