Liton Das has retired hurt after that blow on the helmet in the morning session by a bouncer from Shami.

Nayeem Hasan walks out to bat with Ebadat Hossain, who is beaten off the last ball by Ishant, who completes the unfinished over before the lunch break.

Shami causes another injury blow for Bangladesh. This time Nayeem is struck flush on the helmet by a quick bouncer as he tries to avoid it and the umpires yet again call out the physio.

Nayeem is given the all-clear to continue after the physios check on him. And not surprising Shami tests him with another bouncer which goes down the leg side and the right-hander manages to avoid it.

Shami goes short again but this time wide as Nayeem manages to upper cut it over the slips for a four to get off the mark.

Shami then pitches the next ball right up and also gets it to come in to beat Nayeem all ends up and wicketkeeper Saha does well with a diving stop to his left.

Shami follows it up with a quick bouncer which hits Nayeem on the gloves as he tries to avoid it.

Nayeem then slaps the last ball through the vacant cover region for another four.
