Aus 304 (49.1 ovs) vs Ind 340-6 (50 ovs) Scorecard

India beat Australia by 36 runs in the second one-dayer to level the three-match series 1-1 here on Friday.

Mohammed Shami was the most successful Indian bowler with 3/77 while Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Navdeep Saina took two apiece as Australia lost wickets at regular intervals to be all out for 304 in 49.1 overs.

Steve Smith top-scored with a 102-ball 98 while Marnus Labuschagne made a 47-ball 46.

Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan missed a well-deserved ton by a whisker but laid a solid platform for the aggressive duo of skipper Virat Kohli and KL Rahul to ensure a commanding total of 340 for 6 after being asked to bat.

37 needed off the last over as Bumrah continues. He follows the batsman as Zampa gets a thick edge and is caught by Rahul behind the wicket.

Australia all out for 304.

Shami back in the attack and after seeing off two yorkers, Richardson picks out the full toss and plays it through the leg side for a four.

Richardson then plays the yorker down the ground for a four and then he follows that up with a six down to long on.

Same direction and that is a four over Kohli. 19 come off the over.

Bumrah back in the attack and he starts with a yorker that Richardson sees off nicely.

A consolation four down the track comes in the over as six runs come off it.

Zampa is the new man in and after a dot, he plays a cut down to deep backward point for a four.

Zampa digs out the yorker next. 5 runs and a wicket from that over as it's all but over for the Aussies here.

Richardson is the new man in and after a dot, Saini bowls a bouncer, Starc goes after it, gets a nick and Rahul takes a catch behind the wickets as Australia are 9 down now.

Saini continues and he bowls a yorker as Agar is caught in front of the crease. Big shout. Umpire raises the finger. Australia take the review. Ball-tracking show impact in line and Agar out for 25 off 25.

Australia lose 8th wicket.

With 73 needed off 30 balls, it's India's game all the way.

The yorkers are not making things easy for Agar and Starc as all they can manage are singles as Shami continues. 6 singles come in the over.

Saini continues and Australia getting no freebies here as the bowler is consistently bowling yorkers to challenge the batsmen.

Just five singles come in the over.
