Shami continues as Munro and Guptill pick a single each off the first two balls before the former gets a thick outside edge for a four.

Shami bowls a quick short ball on the stumps as Munro misses the pull shot and is hit on the body. He winces in pain after the blow but takes the leg bye before going down in pain again as the physio comes out to attend.

Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal comes into the attack. Munro immediately targets the spinner as he sweeps the first ball behind square for a four. The next ball turns in sharply into Munro who is beaten before he manages to pick up a bye.

Guptill, on 22 from 13 balls, then gets a lifeline as Kohli puts down a tough chance in the slips as the right-hander had got a thick outside edge.

Guptill has another close shave as he goes for the cross-batted slog sweep which he misses and the ball narrowly misses the stumps before he takes one off the last ball.
