India 17-0 (2 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

The experienced Tim Southee to open the bowling for New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will be keen to make up for missing out in the first two games as he perished cheaply, while his partner KL Rahul will be aiming to continue his superb run with the bat.

Southee pitches it up as Rohit defends the first two balls before he slashes a short wide delivery powerfully past point for a four to get off the mark in some style.

Southee immediately gets back to the fuller length forcing Rohit to defend, who runs the fifth ball to point but can't find the single and lets the last ball go through.

Hamish Bennett from the other end. Rahul guides the first ball down to thirdman for a single to get off the mark and Rohit picks one off the next as Bennett prefers to keep it short.

The third ball is short and wide as Rahul slashes it over the thirdman fence for a six and then steals a quick run off the next.

Another short ball as Rohit cuts it square this time over point for a couple of runs.

The last ball as expected is pitched up as Rohit lofts it over long-on for two more runs, to get 13 runs from the over.
