Leg-spinner Sodhi is back into the attack with Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer needing to build a partnership and carry India towards a sizeable total and not waste the fiery start provided by Rohit.

Sodhi rushes through his second over, conceding just three singles as New Zealand continue to pull back things.

Medium pacer de Grandhomme is back from the other end. Kohli misses the glance off the first ball but manages to pick a leg bye before Iyer takes one down the ground.

Kohli then drives a wide half-volley through the covers for a couple followed by three more singles to get seven runs from the over.

Sodhi continues as he bowls it down the leg side as Kohli sweeps it fine for a four. Kohli slaps the next into the covers but can't find the gap before taking one on the leg side.

Iyer hands the strike back with one on the off-side and Kohli picks two runs off the last ball.

India are well placed on 114 for three in 14 overs, with Kohli on 13 and Iyer on four.
