India 69-0 (6 ovs) vs NZ | Scorecard

Spin introduced early as Mitchell Santner comes into the attack. The first ball is slightly short as Rohit flays it through the covers for a four before he is beaten next ball as the left-arm spinner extracts some sharp turn.

The two openers do well to pick singles off the next four deliveries to continue India's good start.

Pacer Bennett comes back into the attack and continues to suffer. He tries the slower knuckle ball but Rohit picks it up early and swings it over square leg for a six.

The next ball is pitched up as Rohit smashes it straight down the ground clearing the long-off fence with ease for another six as India race past 50, in the sixth over.

Bennett looks completely lost. He goes short but makes the mistake of giving Rohit some width as he slashes it over the off-side for a four.

Bennett then goes for the yorker but again there is width as Rohit pierces the gap in the covers for another boundary to race to 44 from 22 balls.

Rohit then walks across before he lofts the last ball straight back over the bowler's head for another six, to complete his fifty from just 23 balls.

India off a flier as they reach 69 for no loss in six overs, with Rahul on 19 from 13 balls at the other end.
