Maxwell struck 63 in 29 balls to help Australia score 63 runs in the last 5 overs to help the hosts reach a mammoth 389 for 4 in their 50 overs.

Australia got off to a good start thanks to Warner and Finch who had an opening stand of 142. Smith then made another quick century as Australia kept the run rate high in the middle overs. Once he was removed, Labuschagne and Maxwell tore into the Indians at the backend as 114 runs came off the last 10 overs for the loss of two wickets.

Saini, Chahal were given a tonking while Hardik took a wicket as he bowled 4 overs for 24 runs. 




Saini into the attack and did Maxwell edge that? Umpire says not out. Maxwell takes the review and retains it review.

Maxwell then tries to go big, miscues but Shami fails to catch the high ball at short third man.

Maxwell then clubs the ball over mid-wicket for a six over Hardik in the deep.

Back-to-back sixes as Maxwell gets another six this time punishing another full toss into the crowds.

A dot ball and a single to end the over as Australia make 389 for 4 in their 50 overs. 




Henriques is the new man in and he gets off the mark with a couple to cover point. 

Bumrah continues and Labuschagne gets a couple to mid wicket before the full toss is scooped over short fine for a four.

Labuschagne and Maxwell then take a single each before Labuschagne hands an easy catch to Agarwal at mid-off. Labuschagne gone for 70 but not before doing some severe damage. 





Shami continues and Labuschagne gets a single to deep mid-wicket.

Maxwell then gets a couple to the off side before he pulls the ball for a single to mid-wicket. 

Labuschagne then clips the ball to the leg side for a single.

Maxwell then gets cheeky, and reverse sweeps the slower ball over short third man for a four. 

Maxwell then gets another shot in and plays a reverse paddle over third man  for another four.




Bumrah continues and Maxwell starts the over by punishing the slower wide ball for a six over extra cover! What a shot!

The batsmen then get the singles and twos easily as 12 come off the over.
