MI 191-4 (20 ovs) vs KXIP

Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya stitched up a partnership of 67 off 25 to propel Mumbai Indians to 191 for 4 off their 20 overs.

Mumbai got off to a bad start losing two early wickets but even as Kishan struggled to get going, Rohit kept finding the gaps at will and he eventually got out for 70 in the 18th over.

The fireworks started only after that as Pollard and Hardik went after Neesham, Shami and Gowtham as 62 came off the last three overs.

Spinner Gowtham back in the attack to bowl the final over and after a dot, Hardik swings his arms dispatches it over long-on for a six.

Full toss next, Hardik can only get a single to mid-on.

Pollard then smashes the wide ball for a six over the bowler's head.

Back-to-back sixes here as Pollard gets the ball in the slot and he smokes it over deep mid for  six.

A six to end the innings as Mumbai Indians get to 191 for 4 in their 20 overs.

25 come off the last over as Pollard makes 47 off 20 balls and Hardik makes 30 off 11.

Shami continues and Pollard digs out the yorker to sneak a single.

Wide ball and Hardik goes hard at it and cuts it over the bare field as the ball races to squarish third man for a four.

Yorker nicely dug out by Hardik who plays it to long on and scampers for a single.

After a wide, Pollard goes back into the crease and is lucky as the outside edge runs to the third man boundary for a four.

Short ball next and its the right treatment as Pollard pulls it to deep mid for a four.

Shami's attempted yorker becomes a full toss that Pollard sends firing down to square leg for a four as 19 come off it.

Neesham continues and Hardik is taking him to the cleaners. Neesham can't find the right lengths here and is clobbered for a six over long on.

A couple of runs then before back-to-back fours through covers sees MI up the ante.

Two singles to end the over as 18 come off it.

The batsmen had crossed as Hardik comes in to bat.

Pollard gets a single next before Hardik gets off the mark with a single.

After a couple and a wide, Pollard survives an LBW shout as he reviews and the umpire's decision is reversed as 5 come off it.

Shami back in the attack and he does what he is brought on for. He strikes!

Rohit goes big but is caught by Maxwell at long-off who before crosses into the boundary throws the ball to Neesham who completes the relay catch. A Trans-Tasman effort takes out Rohit for a well made 70 off 45. Shami gets the purple cap now.
