KKR 172-5 (20 ovs) vs CSK


Kolkata Knight Riders raced to 172 for 5 after Nitish Rana struck another half-century against Chennai Super Kings. 

Rana started slowly but after the dismissal of Gill, Rana got going and then at the back end it was Dinesh Karthik (21 off 10) and Eoin Morgan who upped the ante as KKR put on a par score. 

Ngidi was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2 for 34.


Tripathi is the new man in but Karthik has strike.

He flicks the next ball to deep square for a single.

Tripathi then gets off the mark with a single to point. 

Karthik then plays the ball to the leg side, two leg byes. 

Tripathi then plays a slog slot to the deep for a couple. Nine come off the last over as KKR make 172. 



Ngidi continues and Morgan starts the over with a four as he reaches out and plays it to third man for a four.

Morgan out next as he is done in by lack of pace and is caught in the deep. He is out for 15.




Curran back in the attack and Morgan starts the over with a four. 

After a single, Karthik then sweeps and sweeps it in the gap and he goes for four. 

Karthik then gets a couple to extra cover before a dot. 

Karthik then plays the ball to long-off for a couple as 13 come off it.



Karthik is the new man in but Morgan has strike and he takes a single.

Karthik then gets off the mark with a couple before he top edges the ball over Dhoni for a four. 

Karthik then gets a couple to mid wicket before he ends the over with a four that he hooks to fine leg! 14 runs and a wicket come off it.


Ngidi back in the attack and he starts with a wide.

He strikes next ball as Rana tries to big but can't get the distance and is caught by Curran.
