Abhishek continues as Dhawan lofts the first ball casually but it falls well short of long-off and Pant hits the next through the covers for two runs before Pant plays another couple of dot balls, followed by two singles.

Delhi are struggling to break the shackles as Abhishek concedes just five runs in his second over.

Rashid gets the ball to turn sharply into Dhawan, who keeps it out before he is hit on the pads next ball.

Dhawan then sweeps Rashid through fine leg for a four to release some pressure and then hits the fifth ball down to long-on for one and Pant pushes the last ball to long-off for another run.

At the halfway mark, Delhi are struggling on 54-2 in 10 overs, needing another 109 from 10 overs for victory at an asking rate of nearly 11.

Dhawan has struggled to get the boundaries, scoring 29 from 26 balls, while PAnt has made four from eight balls.

They will need a few big overs to get the asking rate back in control.
