CSK beat Punjab Kings by six wickets at the Wankhede stadium. 

Jhye Richardson comes in to bowl. Faf flicks it to deep midwicket for a single. Curran struggling to read Richardson, two dot balls. But not for long, he brings up the winning runs in style with a boundary. CSK won by 6 wickets with 26 balls to spare.

Rayudu is the new batsman. He comes down the track and bizarre!!! Caught by Pooran. Rayudu gone for a duck. CSK need just 8 runs to win but we are witnessing a mini collapse here. 

Meredith is here, starts with a wide. Raina ducks under the bouncer. Raina makes room and swings his bat but doesn't connect. Raina misses another. Raina flicks to deep square leg for a single. M Ashwin is here and Moeen Ali welcomes him with a six! He doesn't connect the next. He holes out to Shahrukh at deep midwicket. 

Shami is back into the attack, Moeen Ali defends it. He hammers the next for four runs. Moeen sends it back to the bowler. He powers it to long-on for a couple. Ali defends the yorker. He hammers the last ball of the over for four runs. After 11 overs, CSK are 74-1.

After time-out, M Ashwin continues. Faf welcomes him with a boundary. He then steals a single. Wide called. Moeen Ali punches the googly for a couple. He sends the next back to the bowler. Another two quick singles for Moeen Ali. He powers to long-on for a single. After 10 overs, CSK are 64-1.

M Ashwin is brought into the attack, Gayle is at the slip. Faf powers the ball through midwicket for a single. Edge and Gayle stretches but can't get his hands to it. Four runs to Moeen Ali. He defends the next. Googly from Ashwin and Moeen punches it to sweeper cover for two runs. Good running between the wickets. He drives the next towards long-off for a single. Faf finds the gap between fine leg and deep square leg for two quick singles. After 8 overs, CSK are 47-1. 

Change in bowling from the other end too,  Meredith is called into the attack now. Moeen Ali sends it to the covers, won't get any runs. He finds gap between covers and mid-off and sends the ball to the ropes for four runs. Good come back from Meredith, bowls three dot balls. Moeen Ali again finds the gap between cover-point and point and sends the ball for four runs. After six overs CSK are 32-1. 

Jhye Richardson continues, Faf sends it towards covers, won't get any runs. Faf dances down the track and deposits the ball between mid-off and cover for four runs. Faf wants more but sends it back to the bowler. He south African power hitter sends the next towards long leg boundary for four runs. Dot ball. Faf makes use of the pace and sends the ball for maximum. Six runs! At the end of four overs, CSK are 22-0. 

Jhye Richardson comes from the other end, legbye called. Gaekwad blocks and flicks the next to long-on. Won't get any runs. He lofts it in the air but is safe. Two more dot balls to end the over. After 2 overs CSK are 4-0.

Faf du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaekwad walk out to open for CSK. Shami opens the bowling for Punjab Kings. Gaekwad is off the mark with a single towards mid-on. Huge appeal for LBW but it went a bit high. Faf du Plessis survives. He then steals a single. Gaekwad plays from away his body, rolls over to the keeper. Huge appeals from Shami but umpire not interested. Three dot balls to end the over. After the first over CSK are 2-0.

After a poor start Punjab Kings managed to score 106-8. Deepak Chahar bagged four wickets for CSK. Moeen Ali, Sam Curran and Dwayne Bravo scalped a dismissal each.  

Sam Curran bowls the last over for CSK. Starts with a wide. SRK holes out to the best fielder Jadeja at deep midwicket. He is gone for 47 off 36 balls. 

Shardul Thakur continues, starts with a wide. Shahrukh Khan steals a single. Shami flicks it away to the left of sweeper cover for a single. SRK is beaten! He powers through mid-wicket for two quick singles. Excellent running by these two. SRK sends the short ball over midwicket for four runs! After 18 overs, PBKS are 96-7. 

Shardul Thakur is back, Shahrukh Khan cuts it to covers for two quick singles. SRK powers over midwicket for a boundary. He steals a single now. Clever batting from SRK. Ashwin outs his bat down, won't get any runs. Leaves the next alone. Sends the last ball of the over to point for a single. After 16 overs, PBKS are 81-6. 

Shahrukh Khan welcomes Moeen Ali with a maximum. Six runs! Ashwin and Shahrukh rotate the strike well and take three more singles. Two dot balls to end the over. After 15 overs Punjab Kings are 73-6.

Ashwin is off the mark with a single. Three more singles from the over. After 13 overs Punjab Kings are 61-6. 

Jadeja continues, Jhye Richardson defends the first three deliveries. He sends the shorter ball to the ropes for four runs. He defends the next and single to end the over. Moeen Ali continues and strikes! Richardson bowled! He was batting well but looked impatient and is gone for 15 off 22 balls. M Ashwin joins Shahrukh Khan.

Jadeja continues, Jhye Richardson sends the ball to covers, won't get any runs. He then picks a single off fine-leg. Shahrukh Khan plays it back to the bowler. He flicks the next through mid-wicket for a single. Wide called. Dot ball to end the over. After 10 overs PBKS are 48-5. 

Time for spin, Jadeja is here with one slip.  Shahrukh Khan defends it back and it beaten off the next. He pushes to long-on for a single. Jhye Richardson is off the mark with a single.  Shahrukh Khan defends towards off side. He sends the short ball to deep midwicket for six runs! After 8 overs PBKS are 34-5.

At the end of powerplay Punjab Kings are 26-4. 

Chahar continues, Hooda flicks it to mid-off for a single. Gayle gone for 10 off 10 balls. Gayle scoops it in the air and excellent catching from Jadeja at short cover. One of the best fielders makes that catch look so easy! Pooran is the new batsman. He leaves the first delivery and gone off the next! The West Indian holes out to Shardul Thakur. Gone for a duck. Wickets falling like cards for Punjab Kings.

In-form Deepak Hooda is the new batsman. Wide called. Hooda is off the mark with a single. After 3 overs PBKS are 17-2. 

Chahar continues, Gayle flicks it over square leg for four runs. Edge and gone for four runs! Back-to-back boundaries for Gayle. Fullers deliveries by Chahar are defended by Gayle. And two dot balls follow. Gayle takes a hesitant single but Jadeja leaps on the ball and Rahul is run out! PBKS skipper is gone for 5 off 7 balls. 

Chris Gayle is the new batsman. The Universe Boss puts his bat down to defend the yorker. In the air and Gaikwad drops it at backward point! Should have taken it. Meanwhile, Gayle takes a single. After the first over Punjab Kings are 2-1.
