With this win, DC have broken their losing streak against Mumbai Indians.

Chahar does well to bring the run rate up for DC. After 13 overs DC are 86-2, they need 52 from 42 balls.

Bumrah is back into the attack, Lalit Yadav pulls towards deep midwicket for a single. Dhawan powers it between long leg and deep midwicket for four runs. He then picks a single off long leg. Lalit Yadav punches towards cover for a single. Dhawan is beaten off the last two deliveries from Bumrah.

His bails are off. A disappointed Ishan Kishan walks back scoring 26 off 28 balls. Mumbai lose 7th wicket. Rahul Chahar is the new batsman. He bocks the first and is off the mark with a single. Ashwin is back and Ishan welcomes him with a glorious six! Good comeback from Ashwin, dot ball. Ishan flicks the next to cover point for a single. Jayant Yadav powers the ball to third man, Smith has work to do in the middle. Jayant will get a couple. Yadav sends it towards point, Avesh chases it hard from short third man and hunts the ball down near the ropes. Saves the boundary. Jayant will get two more runs. Another couple to end the over. After 16 overs MI are 114-6.

Stoinis is back, clever thinking from Pant. Ishan sweeps to cover for a single. Jayant Yadav swings it towards off side for four runs! He sends the next towards point, won't get any runs. He flicks towards long-on for a single. Kishan powers to sweeper for a single. In the air and falls just short of Ashwin, he does well to deny Jayant a single. After 14 overs MI are 96-6.

Lalit Yadav is here again, Ishan and Krunal rotate the strike well, three singles off the over already. Lalit strikes! Krunal bowled! He is gone for 1 off 4 balls. Pollard is here, he plays it back to the bowler. Single to end the over. After 11 overs MI are 82-5.

Mishra is called back for Rohit Sharma. He has dismissed Rohit six times. But here he is getting punished by the MI skipper. Rohit takes a couple and then slams it for four runs. Rohit defends the next. What a come back from Mishra! Gets the work done! Rohit comes off his crease and drags it to long-on, Smith takes a simple catch there. Rohit is gone for 44 off 30 balls. 

Edge and out! Avesh Khan strikes in his first over. Yadav walks back scoring 24 off 15 balls. At the end of 7 overs MI are 67-2.

Another change, Amit Mishra is here. Rohit nudges it to long-off for a single. Dot ball and then Yadav goes back into his crease and powers it to the ropes for four runs. Back-to-back boundaries for Suryakumar Yadav. He then takes a single. Googly for Rohit, he evades it. At the end of Powerplay, MI are 55-1.

Ashwin continues, edge and four runs! Ashwin unlucky there. Good comeback, dot ball. Yadav steals a single now. In the air and no fielder present, Rohit powers it to the boundary. Rohit comes down the track but won't get any runs. Cracking six to end the over. 31-1 at the end of 4 overs.

Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma walk out to open the batting for Mumbai Indians. DC skipper hands the ball to Marcus Stoinis, Rohit defends it towards off side. The MI skipper sends the ball towards third man for a single. De Kock is also off the mark with a single. Hetmyer saves a boundary, Rohit will get a couple. Big shout for LBW, umpire not interested. Looks high and rightfully Pant didn't go for review. Rohit powers it towards leg side, excellent save from Hetmyer. Rohit will get a couple again. At the end of the first over, MI are 6-0. 

R Ashwin comes from the other end at his home ground Chepauk. De Kock can't get bat on ball, legbye called. Rohit it started with a carrom ball. Another big shout for LBW, looks it is going down the leg side. Rohit nudges it towards leg side and takes a single. De Kock finishes with a single, legbye called. At the end of the second over, MI are 9-0.

As Delhi Capitals are playing their first match in Chennai in this year's tournament, they need to watch out.

Delhi come into the match full of confidence after beating Punjab Kings by six wickets as they chased down a huge 196 for victory at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai Indians have recorded back-to-back victories courtesy of their bowlers by defending a couple of low totals.

DC skipper Rishabh Pant has the ability to take any attack to the cleaners. The DC team management would be hoping that the top-order fires in unison against the defending champions, to whom they had lost in the final last year. 

For Delhi Capitals, the biggest positive has been the form of veteran Shikhar Dhawan, who is the leading scorer so far in the tournament with 186 runs. Dhawan and young Prithvi Shaw form a lethal opening combination, but the young right-hander needs to convert his starts into big scores. 

The Mumbai bowlers, led by pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, have been splendid in the last two games when they successfully defended low scores of 150 and 152 respectively. Strike bowlers Bumrah (3 wickets) and New Zealander Trent Boult (6 wickets) have been exceptional at the death. Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar, whom bowling coach Shane Bond described as a 'wicket-taking bowler', has grabbed seven wickets in the last two games.
