SRH 121-1 (18.4 ovs) vs Punjab 120 | Scorecard

Hooda starts his final over with a short ball which Bairstow pulls over square leg for a four to complete his fifty, from 49 balls.

That is the first boundary for Sunrisers in nearly seven overs as they batted sensibly in the middle overs without taking any risks.

Bairstow hits the fourth ball for two runs wide of long-on and pulls the next ball to the same fielder for one.

The last ball comes in sharply as Williamson rocks back but is hit on the pads.

SRH need 10 from the last two overs for victory.

Arshdeep comes back into the attack. Bairstow misses the pull first ball but gets hold of the shot next ball as he swings it for a six over midwicket.

He looks to loft the next ball down the ground as Hooda puts down a tough chance at mid-off to concede two runs and slaps the fourth ball to sweeper cover for one.

The match ends with a wide as Arshdeep misses the radar with the slower ball.

Sunrisers register their first win in IPL 2021 as they outclass Punjab Kings by nine wickets, with eight balls to spare.

Bairstow guided Sunrisers home with an unbeaten 63 from 56 balls, while Williamson was unbeaten on 16.
