India 21-0 (13 ovs) vs England 183 | Scorecard

Left-arm pacer Sam Curran into the attack in place of Broad. Rahul taps the first ball on the leg side and looks for a quick run but is sent back.

Interestingly, both openers on same score from same number of deliveries -- nine from 34 balls.

Rahul then goes chasing after a wide delivery slanted across him and is beaten.

Rahul is beaten again as Curran gets the ball to curve in off the air before it moves away after pitching to go past the edge.

In the next over, Robinson has a huge shout for leg before wicket turned down against Rohit.

England captain Root decides to take the review but the ball tracker shows that the ball is going down to miss the leg stump as the hosts lose their first review.

Another heart in the moment for Rohit in the final over as he gets an inside edge which goes off the pads but falls short of the short leg fielder.

The umpire calls for stumps as India finish the day on 21 for no loss in 12 overs after England were bowled out for 183 in their first innings.

India dominated the opening day courtesy of their pacers and they will look to consolidate with the bat on Day 2 and build a sizeable lead.
