Welcome to the coverage of the second and final Test between India and New Zealand in Mumbai on Friday.

The toss has been delayed because of a wet outfield caused by a spell of heavy rain over the last two days.

"Update from Mumbai: The toss has been delayed. There will be a pitch inspection at 9:30AM," BCCI said.

There are a lot of damp patches on the outfield including the bowlers' runups, and few areas around the square. With the weather still overcast in Mumbai, we could be in for a long delay on the opening day.
