Hazlewood attempts to ramp the short ball from Siraj over the slips but is beaten before he slaps a full delivery through the covers for a four as the tailenders continue to frustrate the Indians. He then plays a beautiful drive through the covers for a boundary.

Natarajan comes back into the attack. He ends India's frustration with the wicket of Hazlewood, who misses the full delivery and is bowled for 11.

Starc finishes unbeaten on 20 as Australia are bowled out for 369 in 115.2 in their first innings.

The tailenders made important contributions with the last two wickets putting on 54 runs.

Debutants Natarajan and Sundar impress with the ball, picking up three wickets each, while Thakur also claimed 3/94.

Australia, resuming the day on 274/5, put on 95 runs for five wickets 28.2 overs.
