India 17-1 (8 ovs) vs Aus 369 | Scorecard

Pat Cummins comes into the attack and immediately makes the breakthrough with the wicket of Gill.

The India opener hangs his bat away from the body as he gets the edge and is caught by Smith at second slip for seven. That was a loose poke away from the body from the youngster.

New batsman Cheteshwar Pujara gets an edge off the very next delivery but the ball falls just short of Smith in the slips.

Pujara then defends the last three balls to end a very good over from Cummins.

In the next over, Rohit clips Hazlewood through square leg for two runs as the pacer also oversteps.

He then pulls a short ball for another couple of runs before he is struck high on the back pad by the incoming delivery. Australia appeal for leg before wicket which is turned down and they rightly decide against the review.
