Post lunch Gill and Pujara walk out to bat. Pat Cummins is here with the ball. He gave the breakthrough to Australia in the first session. Cummins starts with a bouncer, Gill ducks under it. Another short ball which Gill evades again. Late no ball called. Gill pulls the short ball to send it to long leg for a single. Pujara defends on the front foot. He is on 8 off 91 balls. He defends the last three too. He has been India's anchor. After 39 overs India are 85-1. They need 243 to win.  

Mitchell Starc resumes from the other end. Gill pushes it to cover, won't get any runs. The youngster now pulls it in the air out to the mid-on boundary. Four runs! Lucky! It was close! Gill again pulls it and it goes over Harris's head at deep square. Gill will get two quick singles for now. Starc bowls another short ball, Gill doesn't offer a shot. Gill pulls it to long-leg for a single. Pujara sends the ball to backward point for a single. He will keep the strike and face Cummins. 

Cummins has two slips and a gully in place for Pujara. Cummins starts with a bouncer, Pujara ducks under it. Pujara powers the next towards leg side for two quick singles. He defends the rest of the over. After 41 overs, India are 95-1. They need 233 runs to win.
